Monday Morning Prayer...

If tomorrow all the things were gone
I'd worked for all my life...
and I had to start again
with just my children
and my wife...
Well I'd thank my lucky stars!
to be living here today
where the flag still stands for Freedom
and they can't take that away...

And I'm proud to be an American
where at least I know I'm free...
and I won't forget all those who died
and gave that right to me...
And I'll gladly stand up -- next to you
and defend her, still today...
'cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the U.S.A. !

(Next time I get my hands on the camera, I'll have to post you the views out my current apartment home in Oakdale and workplace in Eagan.  Smashing views of oversized American flags in both places;  no, I didn't plan it that way... but at home, I especially like the way the flag, waving in the winds and afternoon autumn sun, ripples the wall shadows inside...*)
