Minnesota Governor Tim Walz Joins...

Wisconsin and Illinois Governors Evers and Pritzker in not asking, but telling residents to StayHome.

The two-week period will begin Friday night (March 27) at 11:59 p.m. through Friday, April 10.  During those two weeks, Minnesotans are able to leave their homes for health and safety activities, outdoor activities, gathering necessary supplies, essential travel, the care of others and relocation purposes.
That is pretty restrictive, in a good way, so long as folks don't "cheat" and head out to the stores every day for take out, baby wipes, food, caring for others, etc. etc.  StayHome really means stay home, folks.  Don't make excuses to get out there; combine trips and see if you can stay home for a whole week at a time...

The governor also announced at the 2pm news conference:
He said it means the closure of bars and restaurants will continue to 5 p.m. May 1.  Schools in Minnesota will continue to be closed and offer distance learning until May 4.
