Remember when Michael Flynn called the Russian ambassador to the US re. the outgoing Obama policy about embassy closures?

Remember how some tried to spin that into a crime, his reaching out on behalf of an incoming administration to a foreign power to urge them to "hang tight" until the new administration came to town?

How could that be worse than what Gen. Milley is accused of doing in the last days of the Trump administration?

Mark Milley has to go, whether the Democrats currently in power, or the media reporting on their shenanigans, want to face it yet or not.  The country will not accept military leadership like that.  Nobody is buying the continual failures in ending the Afghanistan occupation, and transplanting another warload of refugees around the world  (*the cute stories run out quickly, and the measles/Covid outbreak stories are not so squishy for the front page...)

Our military failed us, and the Afghanistan army they spent 20 years creating on the American taxpayer dole.  Civilians here at home will have to resettle the refugees, and clean up the military mess, with much less public funding for the displaced peoples' needs pumped into the communities here at home compared to the bloated military budgets...

Milley will be gone by years end.  The Dems, and President Biden, have no choice. They might not see it yet, and the media has pretty much lost any foresight powers either, but the People who really run the country -- the Americans at home -- don't like what they saw in Afghanistan and won't continue to tolerate national leaders who put Chinese political interests ahead of serving their own commander-in-chief.  Resign, if you feel strongly, and whistleblow, if you must...

What Gen. Milley did -- can we be honest -- if accurate as reported in the latest Woodward book, is indeed treasonous.  How long will we have to sit on that before it sinks in?
