LONDON — A long-serving British lawmaker from the Conservative Party died after being stabbed multiple times in an attack Friday while meeting with constituents in a church building in his home district.

... “The early investigation has revealed a potential motivation linked to Islamist extremism,” * a police statement said, adding that they believed the man acted alone.

In other news, the U.S. continues compensating family members of innocent civilians killed by errant U.S. military drone strikes:

The Pentagon offered unspecified amounts to relatives of the 10 civilians who died in Aug. 29 attack and agreed to help relocate those who want to move to the U.S.

No word from Washington this week about any physical infrastructure bill being passed to rebuild America here at home though...
