Also, most large Catholic and Christian churches also have plenty of security upfront on Sundays.  Parishioners as greeters, sometimes policemen or security, carry weapons off duty too. They are alert, and watching who is coming and going and capable of responding.

Our doors are open, everyone is welcome but it is a myth to think that all religious people's today do not worry about mentally ill people targeting them because of their beliefs.

Sadly, attacks happen in Christan houses of worship too. It would be a mistake to say only Jews have worries and security.

(Reacting to Deborah Lipstadt's recent editorial opinion piece in the NYT. I'm surprised no Christian editor there caught that and asked if if she knew the true facts before publishing).
