"Tell them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, ready to share, thus accumulating as treasure a good foundation for the future so as to win the life that is true life." (1Tim 6:18-19)*
... and think about a brighter day, 'cause life is beautiful that way!"

*The Apostle Paul -- patron saint of writers, publishers, and missions -- was writing to Timothy to urge the younger man not to have a "spirit of timidity" and not to "be ashamed to testify about our Lord" (1:7–8).
Paul was a Diaspora Jew, a member of the party of the Pharisees, who experienced a revelation of the resurrected Jesus. After this experience, he traveled widely throughout the eastern Roman Empire, spreading the “good news”
His letter to the Romans, preaching Christianity to Gentiles and Jews is his longest, and best know of his books in the Bible. It's a work that has contributed greatly to Western Culture, inspiring thought leaders from Martin Luther to Rudyard Kipling (1919 poem "The Gods of the Copybook Headings" "The Wages of Sin is Death." Romans 6:23). Some say Paul was an "anti Semite" but don't seem to understand the historical times, the "mixed" audiences he was preaching to, or what his words meant, in context. They would try to silence people who teach, not preach, using religious historical writings and references, perhaps. (?) ... but don't criticize what you can't understand? 'Cause the times, they are a' changin'... ~B.Dylan.
*Make it a great weekend, then. I'm using the spate of icy weather, and no tv just computer here, to get a lot of paperwork things taken care of, hopefully, in doors (and windows! ;-). Spring will come, if you can hibernate healthily for a short time, that's a good thing.
