RIP Luis.

Sesame Street star Emilio Delgado, who played Luis, died today at age 81.  Thoughts go to his wife Maria, played by Sonia Manzano, who outlives him at 71 years of age.  

Luis joined his friend Mr. Hooper in heaven.  

 Sesame  Street is  walkable to Mr. Rogers' neighborhood too, and their friend Fred was part of the welcoming crowd.  

"Hey you, guys!" ... but Rita Moreno still has unfinished work here on Earth.  

"We're gonna turn it on.  

We're gonna bring you the power... on the Electric Company."

(Loved me my Sesame Street, but Electric Company was better liked by kids.  Truth.)
