Freaky Deaky Friday!

With the ongoing American voter support for the Ukraine-Russia war stalled, and the once promising America economy sputtering and returning to its pre-pandemic inequalities, Democratic strategists have re-stumbled upon the stale-ish idea of portraying their political opponents as ignorant rubes, afraid of the future and the minority of gender non-conforming people in our nation.

The Washington Post front pages the transgender Jeopardy winner -- who admittedly had quite the tv gameshow winning streak going for awhile there    behind the White House podium this April Fools Day ("as if!") in anticipation of uniting Democratic voters against the innate hatred allegedly faced by sexual minorities from Republicans and conservatives in the country today.

I hope their strategy fails.

I hope, once and for all, the idea that you win political elections by sacrificing up a portion of your minority base  surrendering their actual interests and using them as political pawns — fails.  How much better for the black community in America, overall, had Barack Obama not been elected president?  He was... ineffectual, at best.  He was used.

Just like the Jeopardy winner above, plunked behind the White House podium for a head shot yesterday during a contrived visibility day, is being used at the expense of creating real change to help the people who simply want to live freely under the same rule of law that protects all of us.  For Dems, that's too much to ask...

The media that plays along with this Democratic strategy of promoting "in your face" outrage that endangers the lives of others to artificially lift the fortunes of those elite, lucky and talented few willing to be used for identity politics strategies deserve to be called on their news priorities as well.  We see you too.
