She Died More Than a Month Ago... We Lowered the Flags and Everything!
Mostly, Madeline Albright is remembered for the feckless Clinton-era foreign policies that led to the successful 9-11 attacks. And... for her stalwart defense of her boss, Bill Clinton, when he was shaking that pointer finger at the country, denying he ever had sex with Monica Lewinsky.
That's how my generation remembers her. I guess the big funeral show needed a long time to put together. This is springtime in Washington D.C. today? Just... sad.
Can't get anything done politically, these days, these Dems. But they sure as hell can throw a party. Speaking of, the Washington correspondent's dinner is on Saturday. Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian, and Dr. Jill and Joe Biden are going... are you?
Washington — Madeleine Albright, the first woman to serve as secretary of state who died last month at the age of 84, was remembered as a tenacious defender of American ideals and freedom around the globe during a funeral service honoring her legacy on Wednesday.
They just don't get it, Dems today. Gonna take a new generation to usher them out, I suspect...
"Dudes, where are you?"
(He can kick like a mule; it's a real mean team, but we can Love, yeah, we can Love...)

ADDED:
You might get what you're after
Cool babies
Strange but not a stranger
I'm an ordinary guy
Burning down the house
Wait 'til the party's over
Hold tight
We're in for nasty weather
There has got to be a way
Burning down the house
Time for jumpin' overboard
Transportation is here
Close enough but not too far
Maybe you know where you are
Fightin' fire with fire
Hey, you might need a raincoat
Shakedown
Dreams walking in broad daylight
365 degrees
Burning down the house...
And wave 'em like you just don't care
And if you're not a square from Delaware
And you got on clean underwear
And your momma ain't on welfare
Somebody say 'oh, yeah' (oh, yeah)
Oh, yeah! (oh, yeah))
