Remodeling.

They are going to install new cabinets, counters and flooring in the kitchens and bathrooms of our building next week.  The hallway carpet project turned out nice -- patterned carpet, black and blue with tan, I'll try to post a pic one day, it's nice once you get used to it: kind of ... psychedelic rectangular pattern in earth tones.

I'm hoping the new project goes as well, they have taste in the styling, I hope, though it 'll likely raise the rent when the lease renews in a few months...

So my big Saturday chore here, taking everything out of the kitchen cabinets -- boxes cans dishes. Things that have been in there years.

At least the windows are open. I'm thinking of taking a mid-day break to re-arrange things in the garage, to get it winter ready.  And I got a bag of chicken drumsticks defrosted, so I'm thinking it is a good day to make soup.

(Don't mind me. I am just talking myself into a Saturday day staying home.)
