If Only We Could Turn Back Time
... with the right symbolic protest, we might have avoided the Holocause. *I swear to G-d this is/was a typo, but wow, maybe I do think that way. In the memory of Ann Frank then, I am leaving it in. Call me what you will: I know who I am.* Consumer soldiers for a cause, may they never know an end to their power.
"Adidas, whose founders had ties to Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, has been silent on the relationship even as other companies have taken action."
Simps. Simps sons type stupid-humor. Very clever poking at America's internal stupidities. But it makes people feel empowered and they walk away feeling good about they good they have purchased and the change they have made in the world.
(Do well-paid people in the real world really believe this, how much they think they are helping others with solely symbolic changes that mean so very little in reality? Didn't you learn any-thing over the course of the past protest years? What did you win for your people exactly? And what did it cost others in your identity group? People are so overvaluing symbolic changes they force. It means so very little, and let's them think they've "helped". How dangerous is that? It just feeds the stagnation and complacency. No change really happens. except for maybe a handful of "jackpot winners". See it now? Try a mirror?)
