Don't Talk About What You Don't Care About How About?

If the Oscars are no longer a thing, why are the Boomers still talking about how they don't watch the Oscars?  Nostalgia? Either watch or don't but don't talk about not watching like it's news. It's not. Something happened that you used to participate in and now you don't. It's okay to grow and change interests and cede the field to others. Not everything ends when you stop participating...

That's our Monday morning motivation talk here at Subsumed.  Go, get out there, resume participating in whatever it is you like, or, also ok: Find something else that will keep your interest to participate in.  Quiet activities are okay too, even solo.  A lot of positive things are still happening in this country, even today, even as many bodies and buildings age...

Take care of what you can, stay humble and be realistic, but keep participating.  We need all hands on deck in the circle of life to keep us merrily rolling along.  (Don't look now, but here comes Spring '23 = greatest of all times/goat! ;-)
