Mainstream media will have to take care, post boomer generation, in assuming that all parts of society shared the same parts of culture.  We didn't. This just shows you who the people in establishment media now championed and consumed then. (ie/indies) It's antithetical to diversity and plurality, and stunts a more natural cultural growth. hth
