 If Ron DeSantis becomes politically valuable to a Donald Trump under siege, isn't the former wily enough to build up his own fortunes on the troubles of his teammate/rival?  Ivy League education, remember. He's no simp.

and if Donald Trump throws his support to Ron DeSantis, who promises a toothy, bright-faced grin, with a hee-haw bray to accompany, and more importantly to DC:  a Trump-free future... doesn't DeSantis win?

(and... if DeSantis wins, doesn't he drag the country backwards, culturally and intellectually -- much the same way Scott Walker depreciated the once-progressive state of wisconsin -- and do pretty-much-whatever-the-neocons-tell-him in a World of War?  Remember, he signed up to serve in Iraq, when that was clearly a LostCause, and profitted off his service...)
