Maureen wrote about sister Peggy's letter to her president on July 8. Hunter's plea deal fell apart in court last week... On Friday, news dropped that the Bidens are ready to meet and greet this little blonde girl as the Biden campaign desperately flails about trying to revamp their failing campaign.

Damn though -- if he plays his cards right, and just holds the rudder steady for the remainder -- he will go down in history as an efficient one-termer, and there is nothing at all wrong with that (we need more efficiency, America!)...We just don't need the Hate Crew following up on his stable term of righting the ship, and unless the Dems get their act together and acknowlege what is happening... let's just say they are so busy picking off Trump they don't understand that one way or another -- unless they get their act together; still time, always still time, efficiency remember? -- a Republican uglier than they've seen is going to take the presidency...Reading the tea leaves: how can Joe Biden hold the country together for another 4? Honestly? He was the Somebody Somebody Sent, in the style of the late Machine politics, and again -- he efficiently served his political purposes. If ya love him -- and God loves ya, Joe -- you understand it's time to let him go back home full time, in full retirement to take it easy... He's earned that.it just feels like with the Trump prosecution, and Biden struggling to run for another term, there's an awful lot of over-reaching going on now in the nation's capitol, and eventually something is going to slip...
