Now that the Americans are Through with Them...

 we will see how effective President Zelensky is leading his people to accept a successfully negotiated ceasefire for all the lands Ukraine can afford to continue to govern, as their own nation's rebuilding decades begin.

He didn't shine in wartime in the trenches; perhaps his leadership skills are reserved for demanding respect in crafting settlements.

His skills, of course, were in persuading the world that if successfully financed, the Ukranians could deliver a stunning blow to Putin's army of invading Russians.  It didn't exactly work out that way:  the funding came -- again and again and again -- and the heavy weapons, too, but pound for pound, they bought only inches...

The world's gaze is averted, to another costly war now... and Ukraine will have to make do in wartime with what they've collected to fight back against.  It's all over now but the fighting.
