Plenty of Room, and Money, in Maine for Migrants.

Why should border states and urban cities bear the fiscal burden of assimilating and welcoming the newcomers crossing our border daily?

It is wrong to use people as pawns, but Minnesota charitable agencies have brought thousands of immigrants and refugees over the past decades.  Let Maine do the same.

If they wish to limit American voters' choices in whether we acknowledge, or ignore, national issues, then let them also face the same budgeting, housing and language challenges the rest of the nation is experiencing at the lower levels of state and local government.

Don't isolate yourselves and then tell others how we can -- or can't -- address the issues facing the rest of the country...
