Honest Question

Are the Midwest manufacturers panicking about the cost of supplies going up under Trump's proposed tariff plan afraid of going out of business for that reason or ... because many of their high-knowledge employees are undocumented immigrants who have been skirting immigration laws to work cheaply for an American employer who can figure out a way to bring them in to work...

I ask, because I know of a Polish employee of a small Midwest manufacturer whose pregnant wife delivered an American citizen in our country this Spring:  the company owner's girlfriend is Polish-American(?) and worked to put them up in a newly built but unfinished house (they brought their child home to an unheated place, but... American citizenship!) in Middleton, Wisconsin.

They are really having a hard time with the changes Donald Trump promises. Recrafting their tax plans, etc.  (The woman is a prolific poster of personal information on social media and publicly shares her W's, so to speak...)

I wondered at the time:  is that legal? Can an employer as a perk offer to bring in a foreign bride of an employee for a short period of time so she can deliver her baby here before returning home?  If so, I hope Trump cracks down on that. Like Wal Mart exploiting workers and crafting their part-time hours so they do not qualify for health insurance but do food stamps, we need more employers to stop up and stop transferring their share of the wealth to the government.  Sure you'll make less profits, but if you take care of your American workers, we won't need see the growing economic inequality between the workers, the true talent and the rentier-inheritance-government class.

Level the playing field.  We want to play in a fair competitive game, the American people said in this last election.  We're on to you... (and we're done paying to kill children with our tax dollars too.)

MEANWHILE:  The House too has fallen.  The red tide has swept all three branches of federal government, and more importantly perhaps:  the state legislatures of the majority of our country except a few true-blue states, like Illinois and Minnesota in the Midwest.  Years of artificial accomplishment for the allegedly meritorious has caught up:  there is no denying the results of that clean sweep now...

The problem is not with the majority of the American people.  The problem is with the minority that has enriched itself by playing race against race, gender against gender, in their pursuit of identity politics. Those who would transfer their personal familial costs onto the government, even as they hold back -- "shelter" their own assets -- to benefit their often under-qualified, under-performing, allegedly over-worked heirs.  No more. Nada mas.

A fair playing field:  can you do the work well, put in the hours required -- in the office even -- and deliver results?  Or are you there to game the system and help the connected?  "We Don't Want Nobody Nobody Sent" was the Dem Machine political way for a long time.  Those times are gone now.  Best learn to be competitive or stop taking so much...

Think of Trump as the Enforcer, and he's not playing your games anymore. Stop cheating us.
