NFL has ‘moved on’ from Kaepernick, Roger Goodell says

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell spoke to reporters at the league’s winter meetings about last month’s scheduled workout for Colin Kaepernick. The commissioner indicated the league has walked away from setting up any more opportnuities for the former player.

“This was about creating an opportunity. We created that opportunity. It was a unique opportunity, a credible opportunity,” Goodell said, according to Reuters, “and he chose not to take it. I understand that.

“We’ve moved on,” the commissioner added, suggesting that the league was finished considering Kaepernick for future workouts or team roster openings.

He's another one, like Greta, where you have to wonder if he's got any credible grown-ups in his life to listen to.

* Prince effectively pulled the same trick back in the day, when he showed up with the word SLAVE written on his face during a recording contract dispute. He grew up, washed his face, and learned though.** And arguably was much more uniquely talented than Kaepernick in his field.
