Charles Blow Tries to Wise Yous Up.

Black and bisexual, the NYT columnist advises:

This is "not an activist-chic, summer street festival for people who have been cooped up for months, not able to go to school or graduate, not able to go to concerts or bars. This is not the social justice Coachella. This is not systemic racism Woodstock."

What it is, ain't exactly clear.  I blame inexperienced Mayor Jacob Frey for encouraging this at the onset and not asserting control.  What more can the city do?
