Smart Move on Afghanistan, Biden Administration...

 Any national security risk posed "over there" at this time is minimal compared to the current breach of our Southern border.

You don't put troops in a foreign country to monitor actions from a terrorist theat -- like that which occured 20 years ago -- while your own homeland proves so easy to invade, why children could do it!  *

*Black humor, yes. It has come to that.... 

If not now, when? Isn't it more humane to turn those fresh children away, so the DACA adults currently awaiting with dwindling hopes their own chance for amnesty might gain citizenship?  Sometimes an all-or-nothing gamble leaves the newcomers with nothing -- no legal citizenship protections, just a second-class worker population without citizenship rights.  The housing market cannot afford an influx until more "infrastructure" is built, and the welcoming places are weary of continuing to settle more and more economic refugees who operate in the shadows, while trying to assimilate and acclimate the war refugees from decades past.

Throwing money at the problem buys time, but that's not a permanent solution. Change has got to come, who will rewrite President Trump's domestic policy prescriptions and lead us there?   President Biden has shown he can mangle a script but still deliver something the American people, especially women and children, respond to.  

Make the hard choices, feed him the lines, and get 'er done.
