Smart Fighters who Fight with Us
He's a dad, a law school grad, and ... he overcame! He's dabbled in law, warfare, writing. Now he wants to be a Senator. Aww. How cute. (the wife and kids, not the Senator)
Start with crafting cogent sentences. If all you have is words, best pay attention to them. Real people care more about substance than size and style. They listen. Beware:
“I think we need people in Washington who are fighters — and not just fighters, but smart fighters,” Vance said. “There are a lot of fighters in Washington, D.C. They just fight for the wrong things.”
Vance added that the Senate needs someone "who knows how the system works, who knows how to reform that system and who can make this country better."
His real trouble is, he has no track record demonstrating what he is telling us. It's all words. He got into a fancy law school, worked with agents who sold his book and film script. That's wonderful, and paid off for him.
But where is any evidence that he knows "how to reform that system" which he is telling us he "knows how it works". There's no on-the-job experience here.
It's a slosh job he's selling ya.
