88 Years Old. Imagine!

WASHINGTON — When a California Democrat in Congress recently engaged in an extended conversation with Sen. Dianne Feinstein, they prepared for a rigorous policy discussion like those they’d had with her many times over the last 15 years.

Instead, the lawmaker said, they had to reintroduce themselves to Feinstein multiple times during an interaction that lasted several hours...

Rather than delve into policy, Feinstein, 88, repeated the same small-talk questions, like asking the lawmaker what mattered to voters in their district, they said, with no apparent recognition the two had already had a similar conversation...

Feinstein’s term runs through the end of 2024. The conversation occurred several weeks before the death of her husband in February.

I'm not an ageist.  I know a 90-year-old --  in decent health and with little mental decline -- who told me years back that these older politicians... well, it's hard when you age.  He said they naturally should be retiring, like most unions make you, because anyone honest knows it's harder when you are that much older to get the job done...  And it's not really fair for other workers, with families to support.

Plus, we wouldn't have to rely so much artificial identity politics advancing the hand-selected diversity "jackpot winners" up the ranks, if we just let the natural progression of "youth" in their 20s, 30s and 40s compete honestly for the leadership slots...

You see, the younger generations of Americans ARE more demographically diverse -- in California especially!  Age, power and wealth hasn't isolated them from the problems facing the state and our shared country.

.You wouldn't need "extra help" -- illegally discriminatory at that -- to boost "diverse" candidates, along with the legacy heirs, into leadership powers in politics and the workplaces, if we would just encourage all these oldsters, way past their prime, to hang it up already and let others make some money with their skills and talents.  America needs to get competitive and put our smartest in charge if we are to regain our competitive edge in the world...

Again, science.  The old gives way to the younger of the species, as it naturally should be.  Science tells us -- especially those who have led "sophisticated" rather than simple lives -- physical changes catch up to the brain too.  Why can't we admit that?  Joe Biden is fading before our eyes, and now Diane (and Nancy?) too?

How long will the media keep propping these people up?  Like with Ruth Bader Ginsburg, in retrospect, it would be better for the country if we pressure these people to resign.  Spend more time with family.  Help them learn moral values, and get to know ALL your biological grandchildren before you're naturally called from this world...

Wouldn't that be worth it alone?

ADDED:  Who we really need to remove from "power" are all the anonymous younger people collecting paychecks behind the scenes for propping these people up!  They don't represent the voters of America!

Gravy train's gotta end if we want our country to survive!  (Do you think Hunter still is taking care of Joe's business, or has all that fallen to Jill now?  Who voted for HER? or the shadow cabals telling him what to do, how to spend, and what to prioritize?  #WiseUpDemsAndCleanHouseAlready)

Vote instead for leaders who are going to have to live in the country we are creating with these misguided policies...
