I Would Never Ask YOU to Fight MY Wars

and you should know that's true...

Plenty of ways to support our allies than continually running them weapons that endanger their own people. Let Ukraine serve as a beacon to the world in showing how to resolve conflict, negotiate with enemies and craft acceptable solutions that all neighbors in the region -- including the NATO members -- can live with.

#LifeGoesOn

*Please international media:  no shots of struggling soldiers "over there" -- young men with big smiles and missing body parts learning to walk again.  What a waste.  America is financing both the injuries and the rehab, the child abductions and adoptions, the military victories and the losses.

Whoever funds war is paying for war's continued consequences.  Sometimes settling border disputes really is better left between the warring parties.  Ethnic rivalries can last a long long time.  Best that the world keep their powder dry, and stay out.  Don't believe me?  Ask Ireland.  Ask Israel.  Which do you think Ukraine will become?

Sometimes you have to craft a solution that nobody is happy with, but that stable and established countries can accept.  Peace saves lives, keeps families intact and allows the weaker to survive.  If you're pro-life for real, you are a survivor at heart because you know the weaker party at risk of dying is you too.

Never get into a situation where you have no plan to get yourself out.  It would be like gently joining the crowd boarding a crowded cattle car, because you hope the people prodding you along in that direction have your best interests at heart...

Listen to the voices loudly shouting that Americans should not be getting into another dark situation with no obvious exit plan.  All the money in the world cannot buy freedom once you become trapped in a place with no way out and no realistic vision of the future even guiding your actions...  a place where you have to destroy your neighbors to lift yourself.

America is the land of big hearts, big shoulders.  We need to listen to our biggest brains now, and talk openly about what we hope to accomplish in the world via our weapons and wars and if perhaps we've got greater talents who could be producing better products to export worldwide?

We need to stop being scared of rhetoric, and understand that our actions have consequences too.  We need to reign in our BigMen, who talk a good game on paper but can never deliever in reality what theirm  unchallenged paper models show.

The earth isn't America's burnpit, and we take so much more than we give.  We need to calculate the costs honestly this go around, tally the body count fairly.

We Americans have a fiscal incentive to save the world and end the warring ways. We know guns aren't the answer to peace on our own streets -- they just give rise to warring ethnic gangs, here at home too.

"and I think somebody somewhere must be tolling a bell..."

Let's put our money where our mouths are in this country, and stop pretending to fix the world while ignoring our own social problems.  Charity begins at home, and we have to address America's needs if we want to keep the peace on our own streets in the years to come.

If not us, who?  If not now, when?  Because I guarantee you taxpayers from other countries in the world will not step in to help Americans to solve our own problems -- we wouldn't want a falser savior riding in promising to rescue us, would we?

That's not the American way.

We don't put our faith in government here, but we the peopole need to learn better to trust in it.   To trust in ourselves. for our own survival needs.
