"You're Giving a Speech that's Being Aired"

 (Are you concerned about the strength of the dollar right now?) 

President Biden *in between licking an ice-cream cone at a press-stop*:  "I'm not concerned about the strength of the dollar. I'm concerned about the rest of the world. Does that make sense?"

(Can you explain that?)

Yes. Our economy is strong as Hell.  (inaudible ? ..."in the interim.")

Inflation is worldwide.

It's worse off everywhere else than it is in the United States. 

So the problem is: the lack of economic growth and sound policy in other countries, not so much... (inaudible? ... "not so much ours" ).

It's world-wide inflation.  And it's consequential.

*  If I were in News Leadership, I would run this as the top news clip on the Nightly News.  This -- not years-old recycled "Trump beat" reporting -- is news. Even if it is just captured this way. On a Twitter feed. So long as this clip hasn't been altered.  This is the president of the United States of America talking to the American people today.  Unscripted, outside the pomp and circumstance of DC.  The man speaks his mind...   LISTEN.

(I know voters who still were supporting HRC after her turn as Sec. of State until when asked pre-election 2016 what she would do differently from President Obama on the economy, and she essentially said, "Nothing.  President Obama did a fine job with the economy." When you're out of touch with people's finances, they smell it and reject you.  The recession hadn't yet lifted in all parts of the economy when she said this -- people were still hurting hard, but things were consistently good in DC and environs, so the well-fed press people didn't catch on until it was too late for the Dem party to "check yo-self" and think of the "little people" voters.  They tell me former President Obama is hitting the campaign trail in these final days to pound a more practical message into Dem spinners pre-midterm, and try to turn out reliable Dem voters to the polls.  Whoa... waaaay too late for that, buddy.  Where You Bin?  Sunning on a beach all summer, riding your reputation down? heh.  Get Ready.  CHANGE is coming.  Good change, for many. Economically, we've got to end the inequality and stop the competitive free fall...  Ready. Steady. Go.  "You're giving a speech that's being aired...."  Indeed.  That Joe Biden, speaking the truth.  Will American Voters turn out next month to save the Global Economy?  Survey says, NO.  Wait and see...)
