Jimmy Carter Was an Early Donald Trump

The American people who put them in office appreciated that. They broke through, both of them, and for a short time, put the People of the country in the conversational mix. But, for a brief shining moment, the election of both men showed us what can happen when the American people tell the powers in DC and NY: we've had enough. You've fucked us over once too much. God bless the Honest Man, who isn't afraid to use his voice to speak against the Power Player Establishment, call our their faults, and take the lumps they are dealt in kind for having that type of personal courage and stubborness. I liked 'em both. Glad they got in, even if in the end, they got crucified for daring to do so...
