Let's Have a Vote, a Fair Vote on This.

Democracy is not imperiled because your side cannot be persuasive in winning others to your preferred ideas.  Democracy is imperiled because once installed at the top, people lose the ability to think about others... they only know what is limited to their experience, it seems.

And wealthy people who subscribe to Fortune magazine are often very sheltered because of their (parents') money... Their reality is real only for those with money.  They are not representative of the interests of the people working in the country as a whole.

Hence, stagnation.  People are not happy with stagnation, even if the jackpot winners are.  If you refuse to acknowledge this today in America, you're helping to contribute to another Trumpian win.  Hth you to understand other perspectives, Dr. Gay.  Not everyone is an asshole who does not agree with your version of the best reality for all.  And like it or not?  Donald Trump qualifies under Constitutional standards.

Why not run yourself, if you can do better?

There should be standards for people seeking to lead the United States. Donald Trump does not meet those standards, by any measure. We should stop using euphemisms when it comes to his words and deeds. We should stop pretending that because he is the leading candidate, what he has to say is automatically newsworthy. When he refuses to speak truthfully or acknowledge election results, we should simply stop the interview and walk away. Enough is enough; too much is at stake. We should protect, at all costs, the many vulnerable populations that will be made less safe in a second Trump presidency. No matter what we believe or which party we are aligned with, we should want better for this country, for our communities, for the world we are a part of.
