Why Can't We Throw Up Hundreds and Hundreds of New Subdivisions

in the exoburbs even, where the land is a-plenty?  *

If we can have affordable rental housing for American workers already here, we can free up rental stock for the newcomers, being brought in to serve the wealthiest who do not want to pay living wage.

Not townhomes starting in the low $400,000's.

Cheap, affordable housing.  That meets safety and storm regulations so we aren't set back at the first taste of inclement weather? Not everyone can sign up for the military government benefit package, and the Save the Vets fundraisers that are so popular with the showy media types...

If people come, where do they go?

The people that are here, how do they live?

I cannot imagine America being asked to absorb more, while our wealthiest taxpayers refuse to invest in the New America, where indeed we do have a caste system and to keep it intact, I suggest you start spending -- yesterday -- at throwing up simple places to put people.

And I don't mean jail cells or mental institutions either.  Affordable housing that your service workers can feel secure in.  It's not too much to ask.  Even animal workers get housed and fed by those benefitting off their bodies...

Barn-like dormitories for the service workers and their families?  English classes and assimilation to America classes too?  Because as it is, people are not building community in their new country with their neighbors.

Don't our wealthiest wise men understand anything about building? That's a cornerstone -- the neighborhood support, not just for some ethnicities or "your own".  Take care of the workers, those are your people too.

* Instead of health insurance, link Transportation to the job.  Meaning the employers who need them have to send the busses to where they live to bring them in, at employer expense. Then, you help the housing and transportation problems we are facing -- today -- in America.

Cmon, "thinkers" ... these problems we all know are coming are not going to fix themselves.  Where will the poor people live? Once off the clock not making your sandwiches or teaching your children early-life skills in daycare "schools" or caring for your institutionalized elderly, where do they go?  What "community" resources do they consume, that other taxpayers are paying for?

Why can't the wealthy who have so much pay in taxes or privately for their needs?

Why do we always have to subsidize them and rob from our own communities as we destroy the collective spirit of community, not caste, that once made our nation work?  Stop letting the rich undercut us with their wealth and lack of collective solutions that work for workers...
