 We got no strategy now.  What comes next?  Anybody know?  We just keep killing 'til we win?

Violence Between Israel and Islamic Jihad Outlasts Their Previous Clashes

Mediation efforts led by Egypt failed to reach a cease-fire agreement as the fighting stretched into a fifth day on Saturday.

* I think it might be best if the world just looks away, and Israel fights to a finish here.  Let them slaughter all their enemies -- men, women and children -- and bury the dead beneath the precious soil.  Let their extremists draw the final map, and let them have their final win.

It would be less costly, and I think the world has pretty much given up on the Holy Land.  They will do what they think best, with or without American taxpayer support.

Maybe it would be more merciful if one of these wars is played out to a finish the region can live with?  Slaughter those with whom you cannot settle your differences, and then begin the work of building your traditions anew?
