I love Florida.  Everything about it -- the people, the nature, the diversity in flora and fauna throughout the state, the night skies, the blue skies, the stormy skies... 
People move to Florida upon retirement for the Sunshine and the low taxes and the freedom from Winter. Trust me: this meme that people are moving there more because of Gov. DeSantis' policies? Reading too much into it: the Boomers are retiring and heading South. From New Yorkers on the coast to the Midwesterners on the Gulf Side, it's the Good Nature that's the draw, not angry Ron DeSantis.  Hth.
