Ever Heard "All's Fair in Love and War"?

I am not convinced Russia blew up the Kakhovka dam.  If they did, Ukrainian and American planners are clearly overmatched and ought to be considering negotiating their way out already, not escalating the destruction further.  If they didn't, and Ukranian fighters blew the dam, that was poor thinking.

Either way, the destruction of so many villages downstream appears to be a cost the American military planners did not calculate into their estimates of "retaking" the country.  The cost of cleanup ought to be considered before more war is ordered up for country once rich in life and natural resources.

Maybe Western business will have to wait to buy their way in?  We won't war endlessly for electric batteries, no matter how much the future of America's car industry is counting on the influx to transform their industry, with the subsidies currently being provided by America's political and planning class...

We need to wean the Pentagon off America's people, as America's peoples step up and start to fix their own country here at home.  These overseas wars funneling billions out of our Treasury when there is still so much need on American streets and in our children's classrroms going unaddressed are killing us here too.

Open your eyes to the ways we could be investing in America's workers today, instead of using our military to fight for Western business interests and calling it a national security issue.  It's not.  We know it.  Stop pretending and running guns to the world on our billions?

Voters will send this message in 2024 to the people currently in power, I think.
