Huge Suprise from the Supreme Court.

Everybody in Native American legal circles saw this case going the other way... Prayers answered? Children protected?  What is going on internally in THAT workplace?

Who knows, but so far by my count, this is two big surprise "wins" for the American people. Keep up the good work!

By a 7-2 vote, the justices rejected a constitutional challenge from white Texas couple and Texas state attorneys who contended the adoption preferences for Native Americans amounted to unconstitutional discrimination based on race.
“They bottom line is that we reject all of petitioners’ challenges to the statute, some on the merits and others for lack of standing,” said Justice Amy Coney Barrett for the court.

You can't undo what was done to Jack and Josie's biological mothers, but you can try and make sure that children are "placed" -- if they have to be adopted out -- with families as close to "home" as possible, for cultural ties to be preserved within the children.
