Thought for the Day.

It's beyond cruel to keep admitting people when you don't have the resources to provide a basic humane existence for them...

Didn't any of our American Public Intellectuals read about what happened in Andersonville?  You can't just keep cramming people into our cities and not expect ... friction.

If a lifeboat can only hold 20 people safely without it tipping, placing 40 people on that same boat would be disastrous for everyone. Same with cities, a city can only properly run with x amount of people before chaos reigns.

Truth is, if you love your country, you have to take control of your borders and have an accurate counting of who is living within, so that you can provide and protect them if emergencies occur.  How can we "be prepared" if we are not even acknowledging the people who work for us, and live -- sometimes unseen -- alongside us, and have the same need for education and love and shelter as your own children do?

Don't look away, please.  Answer the question.

Start seeing your fellow Americans, and acknowledge the work they do, the hours they put in, and the sacrifices they make so that you can afford to live  the luxurious "working professional" lifestyle that you currently do?

If you refuse to acknowledge and appreciate -- and yes, invest and do the work to fully assimilate these newcomers today, you likely won't be able to dismiss their children and grandchildren tomorrow.

The generations grow stronger like that, while the "Inheriting Class" grows physically weaker and less and less skilled in their generously paid positions -- other than their consumer-spending expertise and buffed gym bodies (nice to look at, not trained to do physical labor worth squat tho.)
