Maureen Dowd gives womanly advice to the young people coming up today...

“A lot of my friends with adult children have themselves had to get into therapy because they are so stressed out because of their kids’ problems,” Steinberg noted.

He said that coping mechanisms must be taught. “I don’t think that we should just be handing out pills and thinking that that’s going to take care of it,” he said.

Perhaps women get hit harder because they are more intricately wired on emotions, and more focused on conversation, relationships, intimacy, nurturing and feminine community, as we see from hunter-gatherer times to Jane Austen novels to “Real Housewives.”

A friend’s 19-year-old daughter, who was on Prozac for a time, explained: “Covid happened just as we were entering the world and first starting to see each other as sexual beings, as your own person, your own woman. All we were able to do was obsess over TikTok, which is full of misinformation. The world was apocalyptic outside, while at home our world was also a little apocalyptic because we were losing a sense of ourselves.” But, as she texted her mom Friday: “We will be OK. Women tend to make it.”

Of course, we all know the fix.

Let the young people live their lives, in power.  But of course, that means Dowd and Biden and the aging crew of characters that have long over-stayed their welcome must... go.  Move on. Enjoy their sunset years out of power, and let the young naturally rise.  (The money and the power hierarchy America is currently entreched in denies the natural order of things...)

The youth don't worship guns, or believe in never-ending wars.

They don't try to live other people's lives, and control Others. They're too busy living their own, as Nature intended.

If this country is going to grow, the oldsters in power who led us to this fucked-up state of things have to go.  One way or another, whether it takes America's downfall or not, we need Life for the living, as Christ himself preached...

Worshipping the old -- and their poor hand-picked successors full of "connections" but devoid of talent and natural instincts --  won't hold.  The only question is:  when will it finally all fall down, down, down?

(We could always tolerate the few rich living off "Trust Funds".  But when the honest competitors are left out, because errry'body wants to empower "their own" or the handpicked jackpot winners, the System fails.  Pop a pill, call a therapist, but we're way top heavy today.  It weighs us all down.

Why not just cash in your chips, and try to buy yourself a Win in the years you have remaining.  Because we all know what losers got us here -- no matter how much money, or how many prizes they have on their shelves to console themselves with.

Their palty work product... sucks.  and their children are pointing out that lifestyle fail, one way or another.  #GiveUsTodayOurDailyBread... but don't be so stupid as to try and tie up the Earth's fortunes forever.  You can't take it with you, and God knows, nobody is much impressed by what the people in power are leaving behind...
