Another Rorschach Test
an inexperienced driver, who waited until the middle- and right-hand lanes were fully "clear" to pull over. I see a cop who saw non compliance, not inexperience driving, and a relatively cooperative subject who was unsure why he was told to step out of the vehicle and was not just cited for speeding...
Force came in, and force met force.
One man died. another man has to live with knowing he killed him.
What a mess. Sad thing is, in retrospect viewing the dash and body cam, you know it could have been avoided. Man was imprisoned and then freshly out. He was not sure what was going on, but does not seem impaired or insubordinate so much as confused and afraid.
The officer was afraid too. So force led to death.
We've got to get out of this fearful attitude in America that goes to force and dominance first, over kindness and reason. Working together helps teams win more than brute force over mindfulness.
God bless both men, the living and the dead.
and their extended families too...
