Let It Be *

 When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom: Let It Be. and in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me... speaking words of wisdom: Let It Be.

... and when the broken-hearted people living in the world agree, there will be an answer: Let It Be.

The quality of mercy is not strain'd.
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest:
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.
'Tis mightiest in the mightiest; it becomeAs
The thronèd monarch better than his crown.
His scepter shows the force of temporal power,
The attribute to awe and majesty
Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings;
But mercy is above this sceptered sway.
It is enthronèd in the hearts of kings;
It is an attribute to God Himself;
And earthly power doth then show likest God's
When mercy seasons justice. Therefore, Jew,
Though justice be thy plea, consider this:
That in the course of justice none of us
Should see salvation. We do pray for mercy,
And that same prayer doth teach us all to render
The deeds of mercy. I have spoke thus much
To mitigate the justice of thy plea,
Which, if thou follow, this strict court of Venice
Must needs give sentence 'gainst the merchant there.

Deuteronomy 32:2, “My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew; as the small rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb."

* I think that is one reason I am good with plants:  let them be. Don't neglect them, but don't overly care for them, let them be. A bit of water -- not too dry, enough drainage; sunshine as needed; check on them, but let them be... their job is to grow and they can do that without help if you provide the basics. (Some people don't have this gift, but they're good with animals and people, who require infinitely more care.)
