Newsflash? The United States Already Is at War...

in many regions around the world.  We supply the weapons that keep the war games going;  we send in military advisors, train on weaponry, and have "boots on the ground" unofficially in many lands too.

We are trying to preserve our own human military resources -- our soldiers and service members -- and will cry foul when attacked ourselves -- with other country's weapons -- and claim that is when the War(s) officially started... Where have we seen that before?

Israel and the U.S. Are on Alert for Retaliation by Iran

The Israeli airstrike this week in Damascus was a harsh blow that officials say Iran is determined to respond to, raising fears of a war.

The time to be fearing future wars is before we started arming up and actively encouraging wars in other lands.  That's why plenty of people are pessimistic about the Biden administration and what they've been doing immediately after we withdrew from Afghanistan.  We had not yet settled up for the Bush-Cheney leadership when Joe Biden plunged us right back into his wars of choice.

As a country, we really cannot complain too loudly now if other nations do unto us as we've been having done unto them.  Get it?  That's why it's so important to think ahead when you act, and accept consequences for your actions.

It's also why we need to respect Rule of Law even if you think you have the Force and military might to override reasonable people who tell you that death and destruction come by running weapons to the world and relying on military might to make you strong... It doesn't. Not in the long run.  Not if you respect Life really, and it's not just a campaign slogan to help one "side" or the other win...
