It's a shame the NYT did not send this woman to Chicago to balance their pro Democrat coverage.  She is worldly, and can see what is happening.  Dowd et al do not. They are so in the tank for Team Pelosi they have once again lost touch with the country.

The carnage in Gaza, and the U.S. role in it, matters. It will matter to history — more than any of the political manoeuvres currently eclipsing it on the U.S. news — and it matters to many more American voters than is generally acknowledged. A wise politician would know that.

Update: Uncommitted leader Abbas Alawieh says they’ve received new word from the Harris camp, which is aware of the sitdown demonstration. Harris campaign’s message: “A speaker is not happening would something else work. Would you be open to a private meeting?”
