Duffy, Hegseth, Rubio, Vance...
If the 2028 election were held tomorrow, my vote would be Marco Rubio for president. He has more years experience in the Senate, and seems the most mature voice in this administration thus far, imho. #Gravitas
I liked what J.D. was saying on the Signal discussion that was leaked -- this is not our fight; this will set a poor precedent in who will pay (to keep Israel safe) to keep the shipping channels open. But... J.D. is not a strong voice and always seems to back down on his beliefs. Very "go along to get along" venture capitalist like that...
Pete Hegseth is a boy itching for excitement. Not a leader. Doesn't understand how the constant need for adrenaline costs the country -- neverending flows of war refugees here when we bomb their homelands, as well as the costs of the military adventures themselves. (Clearly, this latest did not involve "defending" America and was not in our country's national defense interests. Shouldn't Congress be authorizing these "wars"?)
Sean Duffy... "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok!" -- has a pretty face, and is known for his work on TheRealWorld. I just put him up with the others because they are all of similar ages (younger than Boomers) and trying to make their mark nationally.
Marco Rubio is likeable enough, and more mature. J.D. Vance is just plain mean, not likeable, and if he came into office declaring America needs to end the support of endless wars that cost the US so much, and focus those resources investing in the people here, he's being overridden a lot. (If we have billions to defend other people's lands -- and even help them expand their holdings -- we should not be threatening cuts to our own people.)

if the 2028 vote was tomorrow, would you vote differently than 2024? Why? What is different for you? Do you have a home? Sanity? Why is that day in the future different than now?
Sean Duffy is purty, and maybe for cheeseheads that is enough, but he should fuck right the fuck off already.
