Look at the refugees on the run,
look at the destabilization of the region,
and then look down at your own fingertips...

Do you still have them painted purple in solidarity with the women of the region who we were expending billions in American taxpayer dollars to afford the right to vote?

Where are you now?
Are your fingers still purple?
Are you still standing -- or on the run with -- the women of the region whom you went to war with so they would be afforded the right to vote? 

Do think in the end that we "helped" them?
Or are they worse off because of American military involvement?

For some, it's not so much the deaths we caused and the people we've put on the run, as the COSTS to our country for such a result.

And Jeb Bush wants MORE?
He's helped enough.  Let him set up a private charity to accomplish what he and his brother want to do to help the poor souls over there achieve independence.

One day, the richer nations of the world ought to revisit on America what we have delivered on them.  If we don't respect national sovereignty, why should anyone respect ours?

Maybe, one day, we will need an outside military to oust our local leaders and help restore democracy here at home?  If China or Russia dropped bombs in DC or Ferguson, say, would we think they were helping us establish democracy?

If you don't see it yet, maybe your children will help you when they study the ongoing Bush war years in their history books.  Sadly, even a liberal Dem saw fit to carry on the mission in Libya and Syria, to the same effect... that's not worth fighting for, especially if we're going to keep spending big bucks to lose and kill the civilians over there.

Better find a better way to have our boys get their fill of military adventuring... can't they play simulated war games on computers now and get their fix?
