"This is a Pro-Test. I Am Making a Pro-Test!" *bump*
Bumped, because it just gets funnier to me upon watching... (I just realized, they are all talking with their LEFT hands, because they have phones in their right hands, recording each other... Am I being played? I know the BURLY coffeeshop is raising money for the employee off of this -- is it scripted, or are New Yorkers really funny like this? I would probably be killed for laughing at people, I think... Maybe it's sexual frustration setting in?)
--------------------
Is it wrong that this video just made me laugh? The newcomer cracks me up: "This is a pro-test. I am making a pro-test: 'All Lives Matter! All Lives Matter!... You guys are allowed to make a pro-test; I am not allowed to make a pro-test?!"
We've simply reached the theater of absurdity at this point. But at least we can laugh at one another...
ADDED: I especially like the gloved left hand* wildly gesticulating at the door. "No mask, no service! You need to GO!" (thump, thump, thump!) This reminds me of a childhood sibling fight... "No!" "Yes!" "No!" "Yes!" "Shut up and just go!" ... I bet it is funnier the further removed you are.
* In fact, mute the video, and just watch the left hands of all three! Very New York!
The more I watch it, the more I love it: Consider the BURLY signage with these two fellas. The barista might just be the... "burliest". I think were I back in the line waiting, I would have just stepped up and bought this guy his morning coffee to diffuse things... But then I'm not a public photographer or videographer waiting to capture the next "new thing" from real life to display online.
