New York, New York... Your New Mayor is Eric Adams!

 Let's be honest.  It's the only politically legitimate, acceptable result after all these days of waiting for the results of the Democratic primary to be officially announced.

So Eric it is...

The Elections Board resets its deadline (again), promising results by 7:30 p.m. Eastern.

It is a shame the city decided to publicize their experiences with rranked-choice voting.  No way would this wait and the errors to date ever be acceptable in the majority of our country today.

 Imagine if they try to tell us somebody other than Eric Adams, publicized as the Black Male leader in the count, is the real winner now...

UPDATE:  And indeed, in a time-tainted victory announcement... Eric Adams wins!  Now we are all just left to wonder, was that the real result of the final corrected tally, or only the politically acceptable one so they gave him the win?

What a poor example New York has set in introducing the counry to ranked-choice voting that elected a former police officer mayor in a heavily controlled Democratic city.  Hopefully the right people will accept the victory as legit too.
