Thinking Like a Terrorist...

If the Taliban were whip smart, and interested in continuing their War of Terror which the United States spent 20 years in Afghanistan fighting against, you think they'd have dozens of unvetted young warriors on those emergency evac planes coming to America to resettle.  "Get them out, Get them out", the media and the veterans screamed.  Who is vetting the evacuees who are storming the planes and being airlifted out?  The same people counting the money and deciding who gets priority evacuations?  (Spare me the fond stories of loving parents sewing gold into the garments of their children to ensure they are amongst the saved....)

Let's be honest?

There is a LOT of money being made right now, spinning the story int a defeat of President Biden -- while nobody mentions that this was the entirely forseeable outcome of Presidents Bush/Cheney, who were the real naive ones (or cagey moneymakers/ Bush is more dumb than Cheney like that... He was born into family money and never had to make it via war-politics, like the Cheney clan did....  Dumbfuckers flooded a 3rd world country with weapons. Air to surface missles for a non-existent airforce?  Biden's people were just supposed to pack all those goodies up and bring them home when the war ended?  What was our 20-year mission again?  Training up an army.  Setting up a government. Making promises of protection.  What the heck were they thinking, guns and roses?)

The stupid national media to this day trumps along behind the spin-meisters  --- "Hey, who planned this atrocious evacuation anyways?  It's Biden's fault!"  all the while patting their backs for being neutral and criticizing a Dem.  Lol, getting played again they are...

Talk about who the buck started with.  Don't get sucked into the left-behinder's porn narrative.  Who does that help, and are you SURE you're spinning is helping people over there?  The weak, the poor, those left behind. How many port stories must we endure and only to prove the evacuation -- not the invasion and occupation itself -- are horrible, just horrible, to any right-thinking woman/person!!  *identity-politics news; if groping pays big headlines, imagine what rapes/child marriages will sell, oh the numbers..

Talk about the realities, that no Virginia, not everybody who ever befriended, or translated for, or was on the US government's payroll the past 20 years is going to be coming to America with his wife and newborn baby;  deal with it.  (Have you seen the pictures?  I'm sure the national media will be conned into running them soon enough...)

Talk about the realities of how women were treated in Afghanistan before and during the time of American occupation.  Had America really succeeded in achieving true buy in in changing the hearts and minds of Afghani culture, via military/money, not missionaries?  Survey says, no. The protected culture in the American protected regions really permitted only wealthier Afghani women to work and take education classes alongside men, perhaps, but the military honestly had not liberated the Afghani women and children with the guns and presence.  Let's not pretend occupation was a  picnic for civilians under American protection...  Some had it better sure, but it never for real.  It was a gun-by-might (except the guns were ours) pressure on the culture, with the accompanying carrot of American dollars.  The culture didn't fall;  it had no independently built foundation.  How much can American soldiers do, and what happens when they inevitably leave?  ... This.  No time, or planned evac, would have changed that:  the artificial liberation, via Americans guns and force, of women is ending.  So much for protection, and changing hearts and minds.  Give me a missionary man for that role, any day...  Even over the money. (they always take the money, and hold you in even more contempt though... the money doesn't always buy what you think you are buying.  Just sayin... Don't learn that lesson too late, elder friends...)

Look ahead?

Most Americans are.  Football started last weekend, the schools are reopening, more kindergarteners this fall than ever... Colleges opening to vaccinated co-eds, most you think are smart enough to make wise personal health choices this year, after what they learned in the last...

Washington, and the national media, can try and keep selling us news as tragedy porn.  But most of us have our preferences... Haiti or Kabul?  The American people -- I keep trying to tell you -- gave up on Afghanistan long long ago, and kept electing leaders to send that message to DC.  Obama, Trump, Biden...

Now, we're out.  Harden up, President Biden because the neo-con warmongers and the remnants of ye olde republican party have set their sights on you. And the national  media, thus far, is following the Olde Money lead, convincing themselves they are giving voice to the soldiers/veterans, and the humanitarian crisis of the Afghani people... Like, where have you been for 20 years covering the misery that is their lives there, that they are willing to hang onto a plane to escape rather than fight/work to make a difference in their own land... Who misled them like this?  What role does the American media play in continuing to monger for war, and pretend THEY represent the American people...

Lotsa hard-ons in the dying neo-con media circles, and the olde republicans who --- do they really believe it ?  -- think they have a future in the party after President Trump.

Why is so hard to listen to the majority of the voices in this country who are soooo over this war news storymaking that we have told you again and again and again that what is happening in Washington DC is globalist business now, not representative of American needs and priorities.  Our daily lives go on...

Hopefully the news porn will end soon.  And when the Delta variant kicks in and kids here start getting sick, don't act like they've got the paid lobbyists of the Afghani people and exploit our kids here the way you do the women and children over there?  Thanks!
