Everybody Hates Chris.

I hope the assault on Chris Rock on last night's live televised Hollywood show wakes more people up as to what happens in a once civil society when we take away the power of words and replace it with the idea that you get to bitch-smack, publicly, the people who hurt your feelings with words...

Don't look the other way to black-on-black retributive violence, America.  It's not a cultural, members-only thang.

Don't excuse petty violence when a black man does it either;  t makes Smith look smaller to be assaulting a physically smaller man who is wittier with words.  This is not a black-boys-will-be-black-boys thing for whitesociety to look the other way and make jokes about.

And it's not how you "protect" a loved one either...

(Jussie Smollett has been hired to play will smith in the biopic.  Let's just be thankful smith didn't have a gun in his hand when he lost his cool, like alec baldwin...  Harder to cover up a murder than just a televised assault.  Black or white, violence cannot be tolerated in America.  We don't use violence, wars and weaponry to solve our problems, do we?)
