Little Darlin'... it's been a long cold deadly winter.

Little darling, it seems like years like years since it's been clear...

------------

Thunderstorms last night, with lightning.  We need the electricity in the air to shock the chlorophyll into growth as it is mid-April up here, and we are still in our brown-gray November doldrums this year.

Pray for some sunshine, so now that we've had our first good storm, the carpet of green undergrowth can begin.  Nature will come through for us in her own good time.  She always does.  You can't bank on many promises today, but never bet against Mother Nature.  She's gonna outlive us all in the end.  No matter what weapons we mortals cook up against her, it seems.

C'mon guys, c'mon NYTimes.  Think of it like a tug of war... you're on our side, right?  Take hold of the rope with the rest of us all ready, put your body into it -- everything you got -- and lean back with us.

Truth be told, we can't do this without your help. If you want to fix the world's problems, the best way to start is to unite with other Americans and work to fix things here at home.  Then, you won't have to leave us for foreign lands later....  America's worth it. The Dream hasn't died.  At least, don't so actively work to help kill it?  We can handle what our enemies throw at us, but it's harder to fight those who insist they are "helping" here at home by disregarding Rule of Law, not taking care of the homeland, and making their escape plans while the domestic fight is still ongong, and winnable.
