War is Never the Answer.

Reasoning people would have avoided this, worked to craft a solution that both Mr. Putin and Mr. Zelensky could accept.  Ironically, pushing for NATO membership and not being smart geopolitically caused this avoidable invasion.  it's not just a word, the geo- is all about geography and the political implications of ports, foods grown, availability to water access, etc.

Don't let the professed foreign-policy experts make this look too hard...

For example, the wars in Israel and with her neighbors -- the settlements being built there on contested lands -- are all about Israel's plans to ensure it has the water supply it needs to grow and maintain its perilous existence.  The settlements are strategically planned so that when and if the world helps Palestine establish an independent state alongside Israel, the areas they have already settled ensure water access.  Look at a map.

Nevermind what G-d gave them, the planners are continually recreating the boundaries of their country with an eye toward the all important water.

In Ukraine, with the mineral deposits that has Westerners like the Biden/Pelosi/Romney on the payrolls of foreign energy firms, there's a special interest in who controls the country for those resources.  This war, sadly, is all about lithium batteries, many say.  Donbass is full of it.

In Iraq, it was all about the oil and who controlled those markets.  It seems sadly, it's much easier to send our troops in to help business interests than for Westerners to accept they have to negotiate in good faith and honor the people already living in the regions they wish to control for business purposes.

Americans don't know geography so much, but we should start learning more about the world if US leaders are determined to put global business interests ahead of the defensive interests of our country and the safety of civilians throughout the developing world.
