May the Forth vs. Cinco de Mayo.

After a depressingly cold spring up here, I don't think the Mexican restaurants will be having a very profitable May 5 hosting celebrations, even as it gets warmer than it has been.  People just aren't in the party mood.  Still, I'll take a real holiday over something contrived by movie watchers who weren't even around in '78 any day.  Real vs. artificial.  I know which side I'm on...
