A lot of politicians would have vied with Trump to make the election about them.

No matter how you spin it, this November midterm is a referendum on Joe Biden's leadership:  up or down?  Yea or nay?  Like the direction the country is going in, or want fresh leaders in Washington?

2020 has passed. Joe Biden is the American president, has been for the past two and a half years.

The DC spinmeisters, the pollsters, the horse-race predictors all seem to have put EVERYTHING on making the upcoming elections about Donald Trump. But he's don't look now:  he's not running.

Maybe try again with another headline, telling us why Biden is the best choice to lead our country at this time, Ezra?  Stand up and deliver.  Make your case for Joe Biden's leadership. 

Dumping on Trump -- who helped identify the issues the American people want addressed -- is not going to win you a war, maybe a battleground state or two, but we're looking at the bigger picture out here, Mr. Klein.  Open your eyes; it will help your spin.
