Here's how the Harvard Man Ross Douthat is Responding...

It's funny to him.  Not to anybody I know.

That narrative  --  silly old man! -- is just not gonna fly with voters, Ross.  Not out here in the Rest of America.  We have ethics, something they clearly suck out of you in the Ivy League schools...

Ain't nobody laughing but you folk trying to spin a media narrative out of straw, Ross.

It's just not funny.  And honestly?  You can't blame Donald Trump, or his voters, for this latest... screw up.  That's putting it kindly...  Nevermind George Santos' dishonesty, Joe Biden was simply never fit for office.  Jill is trying hard to cover for him now, but either he and Hunter are investigated for their business dealings or Rule of Law in this country is shot.  The dummies in DC and getting paid to opine in our media simply do.not.get.it.    Nobody laughing anymore, the "Brandon is a joke" days have long passed... Joe Biden is going to get our country in trouble if he's not stopped and soon.  Let him serve out his term quietly sure, but he needs to announce soon and very soon... the joke is over:  he's NOT running again in 2024, no matter how much the media might wish him on the country as a whole...

Something unusual happened to Joe Biden this week. A reputable poll, from The Economist and YouGov, showed him with a positive job approval rating — even hitting 50 percent approval among registered voters, against 47 percent disapproving.

Maybe the poll was an outlier, a blip; Biden’s approval numbers have improved since his summertime nadir, but his polling average is still below 45 percent. Maybe any improvement will be undone by further revelations about stashed classified documents from his V.P. days — though it will be hard to top the comedy value of some of the papers being in the garage with his Corvette.
