It's just a huge, unquestioned wealth transfer at this point, isn't it? And no matter which party's beliefs you subscribe too, only a fool would not wonder at the role the business dealings of Joe Biden, and his son, in Ukraine during the 4 years between the Obama and the Biden administration, played in the shift on Ukrainian foreign policy between the two administrations...
Joe has baggage, and he was installed as the front-runner by a party that pretty much promised he was but a stop-gap candidate put up in the unified desire to defeat Donald Trump. Then, the party coasted...
Now, they simply have no bench built up of younger, smarter, better political successors.
So we're all supposed to just swallow hard and support Joe Biden for another four years because this is the best the party has to offer? I don't think much of that strategy, any more than a wise warrior supports what we are doing thowing billions at Ukraine and hoping for the best...
The Dems really have to develop a leaner strategy, and put up winners who work and win legitimately. Not just annoint those with connections and wealth to the top jobs, and hope for the best.
Good news is: it's not too late. The Republicans don't have an unbeatable hand in their top candidates. It would be easy to effectively counter them. But not with an old DC dog who has baggage of his own to drag into the country... along with a son who succeeds him. We don't play that way in New America: we're looking to be competitive and put in our best, not our favored boys...
